Bianca Dixon
With over 35 years singing Barbershop harmonies, Bianca Dixon brings a wealth of musical experience, energy, and passion to every chorus and quartet she sings with, or has had the pleasure to direct. Bianca has been the musical director of The Lake City Harmonizers (member of Barbershop Harmony Society) of Coeur d’Alene, ID since 2017. In addition, since 2019 she has also served as the Musical Director of the Rivers Edge Chorus (member of Sweet Adelines International) in Spokane, WA.
Not only does she direct two choruses, Bianca sings Lead in the Lake City Harmonizers mixed quartet Swagger & Sass, with her nephew Conner, who sings Bass. She also sings Lead in the Sweet Adelines quartet, Aca’Bellas. A seasoned performer, she has earned numerous quartet medals with Sweet Adelines.
In addition to directing and performing, Bianca is a dedicated educator. She teaches voice and has provided private lessons to children and adults for more than 20 years. She has directed both adult and youth ensembles and continues to share her love of music through various a cappella groups across the region.
Bianca has also been deeply involved in mentoring the next generation of singers, coordinating several "Young Women in Harmony” programs within the Sweet Adelines organization.
A lifelong resident of Spokane, Bianca is one of ten siblings. She is the proud mother of one son and grandmother to two grandchildren—Ella and Anthony—who bring her immense joy. Outside of music, she has built a successful career in accounting and finance.
Known for her loyalty, compassion, and boundless energy and passion for both music and family, Bianca enriches every chorus, quartet, and community she touches.
