The Lake City Harmonizers chartered in 1981. It is the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, formerly known as the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA). 

The chorus has a rich 44 year history of singing traditional barbershop music as well as contemporary songs arranged in the barbershop style.  Our singers include men and women from their 20's to over 80 years "young."  Some of the members have been barbershoppers for most of their adult life.
